Our restaurant and en suite bed and breakfast lies at the Southern end of the Tararua Ranges in North Wairarapa, ideally situated between Wellington and Napier, just off State Highway 2 in Eketahuna.  The original 1910 homestead, has been extensively refurbished and upgraded to provide comfortable friendly accommodation  without detriment to its character. Brookfields is an ideal weekend getaway or overnight stop for the traveller wanting peace and tranquility, with the added bonus of an on site licenced restaurant where you can discuss your future travelling plans. Tararua National Park, Pukaha Mount Bruce, Eketahuna Golf Course, and the Tui brewery are on the doorstep as well as some of the best trout fishing in the country. For children of all ages, the nearby middleton model railway is 10 minutes away. There are also a variety of private gardens to visit and local artists showcasing their work. 

Eketahuna is fast becoming the ideal rural base for many of the annual attractions held throughout the year in the local area. Events of note are The Eketahuna Carnival and Tug of War, Martinborough Fair,  The Balloon Festival,  Wings over Wairarapa, The Golden Shears competition as well as the many concerts held in the vineyards of Martinborough.
